Subject: Hello I'm Nikki
I must say that I'm under an interesting spell--corset crazy.

I've been a fan of corsets since I was a young boy. 

My recent wife and I purchased a custom Dark Garden corset for her and she doesn't wear it.  :(

But my appetite has grown.  I just ordered a cincher for myself.  (Unfortunately, no garters on this one, but as my waist begins to narrow, I am sure I will be purchasing a custom corset in the near future.  Garters will definitely be included.)

After my order, I became even more excited and pulled out one of the (cheapo) Frederick's of Hollywood corsets I had purchased for my wife and me years ago and decided to wear it to work today under my business clothes.  I'm very proud that I was able to self lace.  Never did anything like that before.    

Admired myself in the mirror this morning before dressing.  Does anyone else find the dangling laces from a tied corset particularly alluring?

Anyway, so I've decided that I will no longer project my love of corsets on my wife and I will buy for myself!

I can't wait for the real article to arrive.

There is something about a corset, on some people, once they try it, they're hooked for life. It was my case. The first time I laced a corset on me, my eyes went wide, and in my mind, it was "what what I waiting for to do this?"

You're right, there is something special about the laces dangling down in the back, with the lovely criss-cross pattern of them up and down the back of the corset, drawing the eye to the tiny waist...

Go for the custom corset. It will fit better, and give you good results, and you'll have something to be proud about.

Thanks Jen.

I plan on getting a custom corset in the near future, once I've lost a few inches.  Do you or anyone else have a recomendation for a vendor?

I am interested in a under the bust style initially but would eventually like an over the bust style.  I have a broad frame, particularly at the upper torso.  Is there any style that would typically be better?
