Subject: Hello...
I'm relatively new to corsetry and brand new to this group.  I both lace and admire others who are laced.

I started lacing approximately 6 months ago along with my wife.  I've really enjoyed the process and look forward to learning from all of the experienced members of this group.  This looks like a wonderful collection of resources.

Hello...

I'm new and I'm so happy to have found this group.  I'm a straight single male that  loves corsets too.

redd, like you I'm also relatively new to corsetry and new to this group.  It's great that your wife has no problem with you in corsets, may I ask what your wife likes to see you in when it come to the corset and how did you both start? I'm asking this to help me fine the next corset for me, also what colors are the corsets that you both wear.

Hi - Some answers to your questions:

-There's nothing in particular that my wife likes to see me in when lacing.  I'm not a CD, so I typically just wear regular clothes over a corset.  But, sometimes I'll just wear a cotton undershirt over the top of the corset - she seems to like that.

-We both ordered ready-to-wear corsets from Dark Garden of San Francisco.  We happened to be in San Fran at the time and tried some on; we liked them, so we bought them.  I've since moved to a custom Wasp Creations corset.

-The colors of our corsets are:
  -Hers: Black with red pinstriping
-Mine: (1) Burgundy with black casings; (2) Beige with dark blue casings

If you are looking for more info for male corsetry, I run a blog on the topic:

If you have other questions, let me know.

  Hello redd,

Thank for the information.  I live in San Diego, CA do you have any information as to how I can fine a store here in town if any to get my corsets so I don't have to go all the way up to SF?

                                                               Thanks again for your help.

I don't know of any corsetieres down in San Diego.  Most corsetieres, however, will take orders over the phone or online.  If you do this, I would recommend getting measured by a professional - either a tailor or someone with experience in measuring the human form for garments.
