Subject: Tieing the knot
Unfortunately I have no signifcant other to lace me in and tie the laces. So I have to do it all by myself, now I'm wondering if anyone knows a simple sturdy knot that is easily tied behind your back. Currently I use the same conventional knot I tie my shoelaces in, but that requires doining it three or four times to get it right.

To get it beautiful, I tried to secure the first knot with a strip of clingfilm (that right? Tesafilm in German), but by now it works without that.
Sounds odd I know but the technique is the same and as the apron uses a larger ribbon it was easier to practice with. BTW, I know it is like to lose some dexterity in a hand. I broke the thumb and dislocated the wrist on my right hand after coming off my mountain bike. Even 4 years after it is still stiff and not as motile as it used to be.
