I actually just received a mockup of one of Joyce's corsets and so hope that it will work for daily lacing. I was afraid a straight-front corset might be uncomfortable and damage my kidneys (I can afford only about one corset a year, and wouldn't have taken the risk had I not read Asenath and Annalei's posts on other lists. ) I am terribly excited because the pictures I have seen of Joyce's corsets are gorgeous, and I have heard they very well made.

 I suspect that I will always wear Wasp Creations corsets because they are so damn strong and well-made, but I just had to have one of Joyce's most beautiful straight-front corsets.

If I ever start working again, I am going to buy two corsets a year: one super-practical one for training and a pretty one for parties. Then I would probably buy a Wasp and a Creations L'Escarpolette. Nothing could be stronger than the first or more beautiful than the second (.....though I must say some of Jeroen's might come close. I need two jobs!  <grin>)

Don't tempt me! I try to build some stamina aginst this. *smile*

Besides, I also enjoy being there physical, to assist with the laces, and such.

Ooff.. still waiting on my commission from ClE to arrive.. might not be such a good idea to go in and buy another.. poor wallet
