Subject: Pop up window...  is anyone else having this happen to them?
I was wondering... I have been noticing this irritating little pop up window for at least a week now.  At first, it was just for eBay.  now, it has other things on it too.  My pop up blocker is not catching it.  Has this always been there, or do I need to figure out how to adjust my Pop up Blocker settings?

Asenath told me that it is from funpic.de - the webspace provider, and that she couldn't do anything about it. :-(

Still annoying, more so since it isn't cathced by pop blockers. A strong reason NOT to use funpic.de.

Could you add a "donate" button with PayPal info? I'm sure people don't mind pitching in after all the time and expense you've put into this site!

I was also wondering if that was possible...  Maybe a good number of us could comit to like a few dollars a month donation to help the site?  I personally think I could loosen like $5.00 (US)  out of my budget per month.  Its not much, however its a start.

Hi,

I do not mind the pop up window maybe I would if this was an active site and it was worth to visit and read and write daily but like it is now with this low activity I do not feel for paying for it.  Sorry but this is how I see it and I do not think more people would join if they had to pay for something not very active at all if they do not join and get active now when it is free.

I would more like to know how to get more poeple interested in this place. How we could get more people from the livejournals and the groups to join here and let this place grow and get active.

Well, maybe, like myself, they don't like webforums?

I still prefer the Y! groups, or other mailing lists!

In webforums, I have to open my browser, surf to the URL, log in and check for new posts. If you have more than 1 or 2 forums, that can quickly become quite time-consuming.
Mailing lists deliver everything right to my inbox in near real-time. Conversation is smappier, if within the same time zone, also I have no slow building web pages to endure, just quick, clean text messages.
I would never use the web interface in a Yahoo group for anything other than subscribing or unsibscribing, I handle all my groups by email.
